The waves of phenomena Crash on the surface Sometimes wild Sometimes calm I know these waves I thought I was them Until I looked into them And saw deeper below Into the depth of the ocean Of which the waves Were just a part Once I had seen How the waves really were I could no longer Find myself in them For I had become the ocean itself Of course there was still a waving The phenomena still playing itself out But I never forgot the source of those waves Thus my life came to a rest.
Today a sense of peace, joy and freedom arose in me in the midst of the violence and turmoil that engulfs our world, so I released it into the fray.
