WHEN SEEKING FAILS, WHAT’S LEFT?
Most of us spend our lives caught in a game we didn’t even realize we were playing. From the moment we’re born, we’re handed a script—taught to chase success, approval, and security, to build an identity, to belong. We get lost in roles, in distractions, in endless seeking. But beneath all of this, something essential is forgotten.
We speak of love, but often only as attachment, transaction, or longing. We speak of silence, but only as the absence of noise. We speak of presence, but struggle to grasp its depth. The truth is, we have little idea of what these really are—because we are so full of everything else. Full of self-concern, full of noise, full of striving.
And yet, there comes a moment—through grace, exhaustion, or sheer disillusionment—when the game begins to crack. When the seeking fails. When the distractions no longer satisfy. In that moment, if we allow it, something deeper can emerge. A falling away. A surrender. And in that surrender, we glimpse what has always been here: silence, presence, love—not as concepts, but as the essence of our being.
This is not about escaping life but seeing through its illusions. Not about rejecting the world but waking up within it. The invitation is always the same: go deeper. Trust the unraveling. Let go of what is false. What remains is not emptiness, but the fullness of reality itself.

Love purifies The burdened heart But that purification May first bring up All that was not loved And the healing will hurt. We feel now What we could not feel then. ---------------------------- There is an opening In each of us, A doorway that leads us Back to love Whether we enter that door Is fate and destiny But also the quiet whisper of our own longing. Life calls us home in a thousand ways— through the ache of loss, the hush of surrender, the breaking open of what we once held tight. To step through is not to reach for something beyond, but to let go into what has always been here— love, waiting with open arms. --------------------------- Yesterday my heart broken open Today I am praying it happens again This opening into love’s deepest acceptance Is all that really matters. -------------------------- Could we but see ourselves As the divine sees us And hold ourselves In the unconditional love We are held in Our troubles and fears Our arguing and petty differences Would melt away Into the union We truly are. ------------------------- Come, let us sit In the silence In the emptiness In the quiet stillness Everything will settle And all will be well. ------------------------ When you realize Your judgment Of yourself And the world Has been based Not on wide open seeing But a blinkered, conditioned Set of beliefs Your judgement Falls apart And you start To meet life, others And yourself From not knowing. ------------------------- You are a portal to the divine A window to the vast universe Don’t keep yourself closed There is no joy in a fear based life. --------------------------- You may think Knowing the divine essence Is a luxury But I know Knowing the divine essence Is a necessity If you want peace ------------------------ The love you seek Is already in your heart The fear you carry Is the erroneous idea That you are separate From existence And from God As the veils part This is revealed As misperception And you are already home.
