WELCOME TO MY POETRY NEWSLETTER

I hope this new format delivers a more personal relationship than social media

Greetings and welcome to you,

This is the first of my new newsletter poems and I first wanted to say thank you for signing up and joining me.

I am shifting my newsletter provider to this one called substack because it seems simple and quite precise. I don’t want anything too elaborate, I just want to be able to deliver a poem (or some writing) to your inbox sometimes and for it also to appear on a site.

I have not completely given up on Facebook but I have little faith in their commitment to fair delivery without paying endlessly for it. On Facebook most people don’t even see my poetry. Here on substack everyone can see it and choose whether they want to receive it or not. It is our choice not Facebooks.

So having said that I want to welcome you and promise I will not spam you, over clutter your inbox or give any of your data away. I want the same as you, honesty, integrity and openness.

I do promise to try and deliver inspiration, depth, a love of the beauty of life, both inner and outer, and a commitment to serve love’s truth, always and in ever more subtle ways. I have fallen in love with the deepest and how to use language to convey what and who we really are.

If that interests you also, then let us go on the journey. And if at any time you want to leave, that’s fine as well. We are not tethered to each other, freedom is everything.

I cannot say how often I will send out poems, let’s just see how it goes.

We are in strange days, but, although uncomfortable, they may be what we need to really look at ourselves.
