THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR PEACE

When I looked at the world
I saw suffering

When I looked within
I discovered peace

I decided to take
The peace I discovered
And share it with the world

It became a great task
Worthy of a dedicated warrior
I often failed
And the world disturbed 
The peace I had discovered

But that redoubled my efforts
And slowly slowly 
This abiding peace stabilized

Friend, the world needs your peace
More than your righteousness.
