Spring is knocking on the door here in Santa Fe. But Winter says, ‘I am not quite done yet and sprinkles some dust on the land.’
And the dance, the exquisite dance of nature as it flows its endless river, continues.
And we are that journey also, yet we forgot our very human nature is to flow, and we resist the parts of the flow that we don’t like or feel too much.
Nature says yes to it all.
Here are some more pieces of poetry for you. May you be radiant, however you feel.
This is a poem of love It includes the sorrow and joy The dance of moving towards And moving away The heartbreak of being human And the ecstatic release of suffering In liberation or death This poem says yes to it all Without doing anything about it But unconditionally loving it. ------------------------------------ All you really need Is the courage To embrace Every unloved part of yourself Without conditions And the wisdom to know That nothing can touch Your true essence. --------------------------------- Don’t try and tell me You are not a Lover In disguise I have seen your true face It is the same as mine All of us are walking the same path Playing the game Of pretending to be someone. ------------------------------- The dawn will arrive in its own time For now let us sit quietly in the dark night As the shadows and ghosts Dissolve in the presence Of our fearlessness. ------------------------------- Come out innocent one Show yourself There are invitations everywhere If only you could read Existence loves you And this is the time To emerge and shine It doesn't matter if you feel vulnerable or exposed The bright light always hurts the eyes But quickly we adjust. ----------------------------- There are gaps between everything Where beauty and wonder is But people are so busy Filling up all the space They don’t get the chance To see them. ---------------------------- Often these days When the noise of the world Fades into the background I become aware Of an ocean of gratitude In which I swim This gratitude is so powerful It could restore humanity To its natural state If it could be embraced There is no place for cynicism in gratitude. ------------------------------- Don’t be the river Searching for the vast ocean As though it were Far off in the distance Be the ocean Remembering itself On its journey. -------------------------------- Sing, dance, paint, draw Write poems to God Jump naked into the ocean Bathe in the wetness of life Say yes to the juice That longs to flow through your veins. -------------------------------- The awakened heart Sees through the tears into the joy In the wreckage there is still dancing And in the brokenness Knows the unbroken. --------------------------------
Thanks for sharing, beautiful as always
