When you open your inner pandora’s box
Expecting a thousand ghosts and ghouls
And all manner of horrors to be released

You discover ten thousand butterflies
That have been trapped in a cage
And all you ever felt
Was the flapping of their fragile wings
As they begged for their release.

Silence is the great portal 
The doorless door
That opens into everything
The deeper into silence you go
The more all boundaries dissolve
Until there is nothing left
Which is everything.

Come home 
Again and again
Forgetting is unimportant
Remembering is everything
Until eventually home is where you live.

If we could see into the heart of reality
We would stand in amazement
As the patterns of pure energy 
Sub atomic particles and light waves 
Dance and weave in extraordinary ways 

There is a pattern, a tapestry,
Eternally alive, forever changing
And always the same

We are that.

Remove all your layers
And become naked
You are the sky
With clouds dancing
Their way across
Your exquisite silent openness.

You may think
That freedom is discovered
Through what you do
But the truth is
That freedom is discovered
Through what you undo.

Beyond the form
But inside the form.

I stood under the eternal sky
And gazed upwards into infinity
There was no end to anything
It was all the divine

I sat with my own self 
Turned my attention within
And saw the same infinity
And the same divine essence.

Don’t race through this life
From one undigested experience
To the next
Stop
And utterly be where you are
Experience the texture and taste
Of the moment
Not by thinking about it
Or fighting it
But by dissolving into it.
That very moment
Is a doorway to eternity
And you are that.

You are perfect as you are
Consider that deeply
When you fall back into self negation
