RETURN TO MYSELF
I was lost to myself Marooned, abandoned Walking the world As a sad and angry ghost And then grace took me And shook me up Demanded I return From that hiding place Oh! it hurt An ocean of tears Volcanic rage and fury A journey Into the unknown And slowly I did return to myself Whole, healed and humble An epic, mythical, archetypal journey Not one moment of which I regret.
