REST IN GOD

After all is said and done
Whatever tyranny, trauma or trouble
Ravaged our lives
Whether success or failure 
Bestowed itself upon us
Whether this brief human experience
Was a delight or a burden
A joy or a sorrow

We can rest in God
Even in the breath
That still remains

I don’t mean the God
Of the thought realm
I mean the God that is
The Unconditional Love
From which everything arises

Rest in that
And all things resolve.
