The weight of the bags Carried so dutifully From the past into the present Become weary and heavy over time At some point on the journey They must be put down Yet they seem almost To have become stuck to us As the years rolled by Friend, be persistent and courageous Be softly resolute and self forgiving You cannot put down the bags with force They must be released With great willingness and awareness See that they no longer serve you And the next part of the journey Must be made with the lightness of one Who travels empty and naked The glory of nakedness awaits you It is a blessed freedom After so long carrying such weight.
** I am tentatively considering doing some new online events. I am unsure whether to keep my poetry separate or include it. Still hatching this idea. Any feedback welcome. - Kavi
What matters is that you keep your poetry available to us everyday, as you have been doing! Otherwise, if included, and us not participating in an online event, then we dont get to read you! And that would be really sad. Thank you for what you convey to us and for your open mind in organizing more... Happy YOU in this Birth-Day, Year and Years...
Love having the poetry separate
