PROUD OF ‘I DON’T KNOW.’
Give up all attempts at being arrogant
And fall into the grace of humility
Spend a day saying ‘I don’t know,’
And see what happens
To that bombastic ego
But don’t feel embarrassed by
‘I don’t know,’
Don’t be ashamed
Be proud and stand with dignity
And declare
‘I don’t know!’
And laugh at your own genius
And strength of character
Stand tall in the land of ‘I know,’
And declare yourself
As the crazy one
The misfit
The upstart
The only one prepared
To defy the times
Of the all knowing arrogance
Of those who pretend to know
But probably know nothing.
