OUR NATURAL STATE
Once the subtle body,
Easily hidden and overshadowed
By the noise of the world
By wounds and grievances,
Is awoken
It is as though we have been born anew
With a freshness and vitality
With clear and innocent eyes
And with a heart that loves it all
This is not some inexplicable state
For the lauded few
But the natural birthright of all
What we search and long for
Some may call it home.
