It’s ok to feel afraid
It’s ok to feel heartbroken
It’s ok to feel angry
It’s ok to fall on your knees, beaten by life
It’s ok to cry an ocean of tears
With no seeming end in sight
It’s ok to surrender to grief when it calls
It’s ok to come face to face with meaninglessness
It’s ok to be bored, fed up, listless
It’s ok to search, and it’s ok to stop searching
It’s ok to laugh, to dance and to celebrate
Even in the face of suffering
It’s ok to stop
Whatever habit you have been feeding
It’s ok to change your allegiance from your own mind
To tenderness, to kindness, to openness
It’s ok to change, even after a lifetime
Of carving yourself into being someone
You thought you needed to be
It’s ok to throw those old idols away
It’s ok to throw those old self images away
It’s ok to transform and renew
It’s ok
It’s ok
It’s ok.
