HOLD TO WHAT IS TRUE
Don’t desert your truth
Or abandon your deepest calling
They are the foundations
Of a life of wholeness and authority
Listen to your inner world
Pay attention to those impulses
Those whispers that say yes or no
They are your guidance
Don’t brush them aside
In favor of the mind’s endless rationale
And don’t think they aren’t there
They are there, but maybe their voice
Has become no more than a tiny whisper
So you must draw your ear much closer
And closer still until you hear it
Like a gentle wind flowing through the rushes.
