Weekly Round Up

Hi, Here is a short selection of poems and insights, most of them appeared on Twitter this week:

I’m for the nobody
The outsider
The misfit
Who may be the mystic
The one who sits in the shadows
The quiet one
The one who hides
Their face in the crowd
I’m for the broken hearted
Full of sorrow
Still drinking 
From the well of life
People
I’m for those ones.

Courage is a quality
That cannot be faked
But must be found
Deep within

Real courage is the willingness 
To meet inner demons
And the mechanism that drives addiction

To turn around
After a life of running
And meet what is there
Nakedly and openly.

I am nobody
Nothing
Emptiness walking
The sky, the universe, the stars
Wrapped in skin and bones
There is nothing to say
Nothing to do
And nowhere to go
Just this, just this

To the mind these words
Sound desperate and crushing

To the mystic they are freedom.

Become so open that 
Everything flows through you

This is how we heal the world 
By allowing it, without trying to fix it.

It is very simple
Just stop fighting
Your experience
And see what remains.

Let the thinkers think important thoughts
And the talkers talk of serious matters
All in great earnest

Let the dancers whirl through time
And the musicians play their ecstatic sky songs 
In great reverie

I will be here
Sitting quietly
In the silence
Before everything begins.
