EXPERIENCE IS THE INVITATION TO FREEDOM
The deeper you delve into the mystery of your existence, the more your inner eyes open to the relationship you have with experience itself.
On the surface, it may seem as though we are separate individuals moving through the world, encountering experience after experience, both good and bad, and that these experiences somehow define our lives.
But as you go deeper, you begin to see that experience itself is the invitation (offered by life’s intelligence) to know your true nature as consciousness, union, or oneness. Experience either affirms the separation perceived by the ego self, which constantly divides everything, or guides the seeker to recognize that which is beyond the ego—unity itself.
Thus, experience invites us or affirms us. It is the wave that either reminds us we are the ocean or defines us as separate entities, entirely alone and disconnected from our true nature.
Beyond the veil That beguiles us The eyes that see clearly Recognize the same consciousness Manifesting as each individuation A tree, a plant, a cloud, a rabbit A universe, a planet, a human Each unique And each the same. ----------------------- Sorrow is a cloud in the vast sky If it brings rain welcome it It will grow beautiful flowers. ---------------------- What if nothing else needed to change On your spiritual journey Except a radical and exponential increase In the amount of kindness You offered to yourself, your experience, And all of existence And the awareness to notice When you forget? -------------------------- Only in unconsciousness Can people be so cruel To each other. -------------------------- Don’t run to the light so fast You may not have finished With the darkness yet Let the light arrive by itself The sun doesn’t rush the night away They blend seamlessly into each other Each one a part of the other And both integral to the whole. --------------------------- Wisdom comes When the patterns Of one’s life Are seen as beautiful Even in the suffering. -------------------------- Don't wait for the cloudless sky Your freedom may arise In the midst of a great storm. -------------------------- Cleanse the portals of your perception Clean up your energy centers Discover the silence at your core The divine flow Can then move freely through you Like a torus. -------------------------- Why not see your life As an unfolding myth With you as the great Archetypal hero Playing out the tragedies And the victories The sorrows and joys Of the human condition For that is the truth of it. --------------------------- There is a kind of love That nourishes Everyone it touches Seek only that.
