The heart is a cathedral
In which everything and everyone
Is allowed
The doors may seem shut
But they are not locked
We must use whatever keys we have
Whatever intention and persistence
Whatever softness and grace
Whatever resolve and earnestness
To simply open the door
How magnificent is the sight
When that happens
‘Oh my tender and sweet heart!’
You will sigh as gratitude
Pours out its love
An unstoppable stream of goodness
No longer tethered by mind’s righteousness.
