AN ECSTATIC PORTAL

Hi Friend,

Sometimes this endless stream of poetry that rises up is so overwhelming I slip into a kind of reverie, beyond the human experience and into the essence, into the eternal unknown. I experience it as non local, not even a me having the experience, as though Kavi has dissolved into everything. I know it as the end of any and all problems, suffering and division.

And then of course I return, with things to attend to, chores, the teaching program, the dog to walk and feed and play with, the market place of life with its incessant demands. Yet still more and more that fragrance of the eternal stays with me and there is more gliding through this very human experience.

Enough of the reflection, here are some poems from my depth.

You go beyond 
For a moment 
And taste 
The eternal nectar 
Of ecstatic perfection 

You return with a heart
Brimming over with love
Unable to fully articulate
What you know in your deepest
To be true

So you live in the silence of the deepest knowing.

The old world
Inside us all
Is dying

We can fight that death
Or we can surrender into it
And see what is born
From the ashes.

If the ocean hung on to the waves
The way we hang on to our thoughts 
And old emotions
What chaos we would see

But no, the ocean is wise
And allows the endless movement 
Knowing that movement
Is but a small part of its nature.

The un-met past
Is a hungry ghost
That appears scary
But is only
Trying to get attention
All energies want 
The loving embrace of union.

Love with a heart on fire
Ablaze with life
Rise up like a phoenix
From the ashes 
Of the old you
You have nothing to lose
Except some worn out ideas
Of how you should be or not be.

A lifetime of denial
Brought me
To the door of acceptance
There was no choice
But to surrender into it

Now the remaining years
Are devoted
To that ongoing path.

I am nothing, just this
A silence that walks the world
Here for a time in form
I am in everything 
And everything is in me
Humble and prayerful
Bold and unashamed
Yielded all arrogance
And surrendered 
To the mystery 
We call life.

Wisdom comes
When the patterns 
Of one’s life
Are seen as beautiful
Even in the suffering.

I discovered
My darkness
Was filled with light
That single discovery
Changed everything.

There are galaxies in your heart
Star dust in your mind
You are the universe itself
Condensed into form
You have arrived as a miracle
From the great nothingness
For a brief moment to experience life
With all its myriad joys and tragedies.

** I am putting on a special event to talk about all matters 'Holistic, Healing, Transformation and Nonduality.'
