Last night as I lay in bed
And Peyote, once again,
Snuggled into place
Nestled into my belly
As close as the most intimate lover
I felt such a gratitude and peace
As though my entire life
Had led to this exquisite beauty
To be a pillow for Peyote
All the trouble, the heartache
The struggle with life
The pushing away
The persistence
The surrender, again and again,
Every tear, rage and tirade
Every fear and all the terror
Some of which still exists
Has indubitably brought me to this
I cannot begin to express my gratitude
For its simplicity
To become a warm, welcoming, safe
Pillow for Peyote
What greater joy is there
This is love.
**Take care my friends. Have a peaceful weekend, remember to love yourself.

How absolutely wonderful to humbly be the pillow. May I too be a pillow for my beloved cats and may I also be the one who trusts and snuggles into life to know that is how love flows xx
